Intro To Info Tech
This is my first ever blog post. I actually never thought about blogging before but I have read some people's blogs in the past. Recently after ten years as an LPN I decided to switch careers to information technology. Intro to information technology is the first course I am taking towards that career change. So far it's been great! I sometimes have down time at my current job so I have been doing school work between my office at work and at home. I noticed when working on my first assignment on my work computer I was unable to save some of the documents as a PDF. I suspect it was either because my work computer was using either an older version of Office or Adobe but I'm unsure of which. Luckily my home computer is a newer machine and all my applications are updated. I like the way the orientation was set up because it takes you through Blackboard and all it's features which I have found has been helpful so far in both of my online courses.
